President

Robert Kembel believes that creating unique environments for people to work, worship, live and play is one of the more noble contributions one could make in business. He spent six years with Guaranty Federal Bank in Dallas expanding their out of state lending programs and serving as a loan committee member. His 10 years of overall banking experience in real estate lending led to his previous positions as COO or president of homebuilding and land development companies specializing in master-planned communities. With a passion for organizational development of real estate and homebuilding organizations, Kembel is well known for creating environments where individuals can be successful and push themselves to grow.

As President of Huffines Communities™ since 2004, he is responsible for organization development, business planning, hiring, project strategy and management, investor relations, and general oversight of all aspects of the company. Bob’s goal for Huffines Communities™ is to build an organization capable of consistently, ethically, and profitably delivering the company’s mission of creating value.

Mr. Kembel received a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin in 1986. He has been married for 18 years and has three children. Bob is a past board member of the Brent Eley Foundation in Denver Colorado, and he is a member and small group leader for Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas. Bob has participated in a variety of various trade associations (ULI, CNU) and chambers. Bob is presently on the board of trustees for Liberty Christian School in Argyle Texas, and is a current board member for the Texas Soaring Association and the Arlington Chamber of Commerce.
