Scott Raskin

Scott Raskin is engaged in the private practice of law in Dallas, Texas. He has extensive corporate and real estate experience, particularly in the area of master-planned communities. From 1996 until 2003, Mr. Raskin served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Terrabrook, which at the time was one of the largest master-planned community developers in the United States. In his capacity with Terrabrook, he had overall responsibility for all legal and risk management functions of the company, including the engagement of counsel, the oversight of litigation matters, the coordination of legal policy on human resource issues, and the structuring and implementation of major transactions. He was also a member of the company's Executive and Investment committees.

Prior to joining Terrabrook, Mr. Raskin served as General Counsel of Trammell Crow Ventures and Trammell Crow Realty Advisors in Dallas, Texas. He was responsible for the legal operations of those companies. Prior to that time, Mr. Raskin served as a partner in the corporate and securities section of a major law firm in Dallas, Texas. During that time, he provided advice to major companies and small businesses and worked on numerous public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate transactions.

Mr. Raskin received his B.B.A. from the University of Oklahoma and his J.D. from Duke University.
