Mr. Cox's practice is divided into four main areas: commercial lending, real estate, mergers and acquisitions, and oil and gas. As a result of his broad experience, Mr. Cox is an established transactional attorney and has worked on many complex contractual arrangements for numerous corporate clients and individuals. He has represented lenders in connection with all types of loan facilities, including oil and gas production loans, commercial loans, asset-based loans and real estate loans. He represents residential real estate developers and home builders, and has represented numerous clients in connection with acquisitions and divestitures.

Mr. Cox also represents oil and gas production companies and mineral working interest owners. He received his J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law and is active in many professional and civic organizations.
